Use the Financial Professional Interview Scorecard to Compare Candidates

The scorecard compares documented evidence, not charisma. Identity and official registration carry the largest weight, and a failed registry check remains a stop condition regardless of the total.

A memorable conversation is not the same as a comparable one. Score each candidate only after collecting written answers and checking the relevant public registry.

Score the evidence file, not the sales meeting

Use one scorecard per candidate. “Clear evidence” means a registry result, disclosure, agreement, fee schedule or written process supports the answer.

Evidence score0 / 100

The file has not been reviewed.

Unresolved evidence

  • Complete the seven evidence tests.

A failed identity or licence match is a stop condition regardless of score.

Rules for a fair candidate comparison

  1. Score documents rather than promises

Mark clear evidence only when you have a registry result, agreement, fee schedule, disclosure or written process that supports the answer.

  2. Use one brief for every candidate

Give candidates the same goals, constraints and requested outputs so differences in the score reflect their evidence rather than a different assignment.

  3. Resolve low scores before averaging

A missing licence match, unexplained conflict or unclear payment destination should be investigated directly. Do not let strong communication points cancel a safety issue.

Interview scorecard questions

Does a high score mean PEOPLE.you recommends the professional?

No. The score organises your evidence and is not certification, endorsement or a prediction of future conduct.

Can I compare different professional types?

Use the scorecard for common evidence such as identity, cost and communication, but judge authority and service scope using the regulator and documents relevant to that profession.
